Information Collection and Use
When you opt-in on any of my websites, I will have generally enabled a “double opt-in.” This means that if you are on my email list, you not only entered your email on one of my forms, but you then took the additional step to go into your email and click a link to confirm that you do, in fact, want to hear from me. I will use this email address for the sole and exclusive purpose of sending you email communications. I am a proud user of Mailchimp. This is where the information will be stored. Your email address will never be sold, or uploaded to any site (such as Facebook or Twitter for the creation of custom audiences) without your explicit permission.
I do however use Google Analytics on my site to track how many people are visiting my site and what they are doing on my site. If you think that is a bad thing, I strongly encourage the use of some browser plugins such as Ghostery.
This is another one I’m not entirely sure of but I’m pretty sure my website does it.
Cookies are files with small amount of data that is commonly used an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your computer’s hard drive. Our website may use “cookies” to collection information. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies, and know when a cookie is being sent to your computer. If you choose to refuse our cookies, I’m not sure what will happen but it’s possible that you may not be able to use some parts of this site
I do have a few social media pixels on my sites. In most case, I would use this data to create lookalike audiences on sites like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, etc. This would allow me to target ads to individuals that are similar to those that the social media channel matches as visitors of my site. Again, certain plugins like Ghostery can block this, and using browsers like Firefox or Brave can also help. I’m always happy to remove anyone from any list or campaign upon request, to the best of my ability.
Sometimes I work with people from Upwork and Fiverr, as well as virtual assistants.
I seriously appreciate your trust in providing me any Personal Information. I take that shit real seriously. I’ll do everything within my power (financially or capability) to protect it. However, I just want you to remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security. But again, I’ll do my best. I take this seriously.
